Featuring
K GROSSMAN (Poet; Philadelphia)
LAURA NEUMAN (Prose Writer; Philadelphia)
KRISTI MAXWELL (Poet; Cincinnati)

K GROSSMAN is a poet and visual artist living in Philadelphia. Her current writing uses formal constraints to expose the pressure typically placed on asynchronicity and synchronicity alike. Her hesitancy towards publishing has nevertheless led to occasional readings and the production of small publications, of which this event marks her first in Philadelphia, on both counts.

LAURA NEUMAN writes letters down on paper that form poems/stories/essays. A native of San Francisco, she also sometimes moves in dance/theatre pieces in Philadelphia, the city where she now lives.

KRISTI MAXWELL currently lives and writes in the birthplace of Kenneth Koch, though she calls Cleveland, Tennessee and Tucscon, Arizona, home. Her poems have appeared in 580 Split, How2, LIT, POOL, and Coconut, and in various other publications. Realm Sixty-four, her first full length collection, was published recently through Ahsahta Press. Her second book, Hush Sessions, will be published by Saturnalia in 2009, and Elsewhere & Wise, a chapbook, is forthcoming from Dancing Girl Press.
