You can check out two recent interviews of his on Penn Sound by Leonard Schwartz/Cross Cultural Poetics and Susan Brennan/Radio Poetique. He is the founding editor of NYC-based Futurepoem books.

LAURA SOLOMON was born in 1976 in Birmingham, Alabama. She studied Political Science and Literature at the University of Georgia in Athens, and later Creative Writing at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. She is the author of two books of poetry, Bivouac (Slope Editions, 2002) and Blue and Red Things (Ugly Duckling Presse, 2007). Other publications include a chapbook, Letters by which Sisters Will Know Brothers (Katalanche Press, 2005) and Haiku des Pierres/Haiku of Stones by Jacques Poullaouec, a translation from the French with Sika Fakambi (Apogee Press, 2006).

ERIK RUIN, CHARLES COHEN, REID BOOKS, and KATT HERNANDEZ are coming together as a unique collaborative ensemble for this evening’s festivities and will be performing three simultaneous improvisational duets. Between Book’s guitar, Hernandez’s violin, Cohen’s electronics, and Ruin’s overhead projections, a slowly evolving and intertwining environment of image and sound will be constructed. Each of these innovative musicians and artists perform and exhibit regularly in the Philadelphia area.
